Ole Martin holds a PhD in political science from the University of Gothenburg in 2017. He obtained his masters degree in comparative politics from University of Bergen in 2012. He has worked at NORCE since 2017. In his dissertation, he studied the relationship between economic growth and greenhouse emissions at the country level between 1970 and 2012, and to what extent this relationship varies between countries with different political and institutional charactersitics.

His research interests includes climate and environmental issues, resouce economics and social science methodology.
